Mind – Mind is a mental health charity in England and Wales. It was founded in 1946 as the National Association for Mental Health (NAMH). Mind offers information and advice to people with mental health problems and lobbies government and local authorities on their behalf. Books Beyond Words – Our charity co-creates word-free picture stories for people with learning disabilities. Our Book Clubs are an inclusive way to enjoy these stories. Every story we write is co-created with people with lived experience and trialled by people with learning disabilities. Picture stories are accessible to everyone, whether or not you can read words. Disability Rights UK – Disability Rights UK is the UK’s leading Disabled People’s Organisation (DPO) led by, run by, and working for Disabled people. We work with other DPOs, public bodies, businesses and Government across the UK to influence regional and national change for better rights, accessibility, benefits, quality of life and economic opportunities for Disabled people. PROPS Bristol – Here at Props, our vision is of a future where everyone who has a disability can do purposeful and rewarding work and contribute to their community. To make this a reality, we provide the skills, support and work opportunities that are currently not accessible for young people and adults who have learning disabilities.
